What the?...

This reminds me so much of Luigi's Mansion! It's crazy, it's eerie, it's crazily eerie! Amazing job. :)

Thanks Snoe! Haven't seen you in a while!

Holy flippin' mini vans, Batman!

This is amazing! Can't criticize at all, very well done. Love the change ups; great mastering. The quote gave me chills.

Thanks a bunch Snoe!

Great!

Nice mastering, great beats, awesome progression and sound choice; but try and change it up a bit. Don't get too repetitive with it. That's pretty minor though, because this is good enough to get by with it in my opinion. If I could ask for one thing out of personal preference, I'd like to hear a bigger kick and snare. Sweet track, keep it up!

Hey man I love that snare to death :[
But seriously thank you so much for this review I love constructive criticism from people who actually know a thing or two. Thank you very much.

Interesting things happening, but revise it a bit.

The fact that this is a trumpet blows my mind, okay now that's out of the way. Nice melody. The main problem with this track is the sounds used. Too much distortion in the melody (sorry trumpet, guitar... thing), dreary bass sound, and poor choice of drum sound effects. It's a nice try, but maybe boosting the tempo in addition of a sound change-up would also help. I like the minor key and the melody, but instead of coming off as mysterious (which is what I'm guessing you were going for) you ended up sounding a bit boring and depressing at the same time. Not bashing the idea, all considered, just rethink your approach. Thanks for the experimental track, and good luck on improving!

Much appreciated. I always respect constructive criticism. I'll see what I can do to improve on this, but I'm not sure if I'm going to continue this one yet.

Nice!

I absolutely love this ambient piece! I could listen to it in the background while meditating or just walking around. I really can't provide much criticism because even though it's so repetitive, you change it up enough to still make it interesting. Thanks for this track!

Thank you.

Solid track.

This track was pretty interesting to listen to. The intro with the lute-like instrument seemed to get boring pretty quickly to me because of the strange dynamic contrast (it was loud and then at the end of each phrase it became almost inaudible). The vocals seemed to be unclear on the melody. Being gruff with your voice is one thing, but seemingly abandoning the melody is another. Props to the band for a solid track, nice solo, and changing the feel of it enough to keep it from being repetitive (especially you drums!). Nice lyrics. The ending surprised me, as it was rather tame. I was expecting an explosion, but it wasn't a bad ending by any means. Thanks for the cool track, and I hope you continue to improve!

Schleif responds:

thanks! the 'lute-like instrument' is an acoustic guitar. the dynamic contrast in the intro was intentional. my voice isn't very halford-like haha, which is why i just did my thing instead. on the other hand, i didn't spend a lot of time with the vocals, and could have made a better job with them for sure. perhaps i should have stayed a bit more strict to the medlodies, but i kind of like to go with a more scream/growl-ish approach. thanks for the feedback!

I'm a composer that's trying to find my way in my understanding and ability to create music. I'm trying everyday to become a better person and musician. I recently have hit an electronica kick, so I figured I'd upload most of my music to this account. :P
